JUICE IN JULY

Our Outreach Team challenged our congregation to provide 200 containers of fruit and fruit juice to the Pecatonica Food Pantry this summer. They did not disappoint us as we were able to give the food pantry more than 250 containers of all fruit and fruit juice to provide nourishment to our neighbors.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,”    Matthew 25:35 (NIV)

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF SCHOOL KITS

Again we challenged our congregation to assist in providing School Kits to those in need around the world. Imagine having to choose between a meal or purchasing a notebook. School Kits are sent to places where even the few required school supplies may be more than a family can afford (https://lwr.org/get-involved/build-kits-of-care/school-kits). We started with a goal of 100 kits, then 150, and ended up supplying 201 kits for students throughout the world! Our thanks to the outpouring of love from our members and friends to help others.
